We look forward to another great day of golf and fund-raising that will support student scholarships at the College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences. 

About the Golf Scramble for Scholarships

The CFANS Alumni Society's Golf Scramble for Scholarships has been an annual event since 2004. The day's activities include team photos with Goldy, fun contests, a BBQ lunch, silent auction, award & prizes, and of course, golf! Nearly $300,000 has been raised over the past decade from the golf scramble, an accompanying silent auction and sponsorships, and more than $35,000 will go to student scholarships this year.

Golf Scramble Details:

Team registration - $500
Individual registration - $125
SuperPack - $80 - includes 4 mulligans, buy a putt, buy a drive, beat the pro, and the hole-in-one contest
Splash for Cash Contest - $5 per ball, $10 for 3 balls (not included in SuperPack)

6:45 -7:30 a.m. - Registration, coffee & doughnuts, silent auction begins
7:35 a.m. - Announcements & teams leave for starting points
8:00 a.m. - Shotgun start
1:00 p.m. - Lunch begins followed by closing of silent auction and awards program

Open - any team that would like to enter
Mixed - must have one person of the opposite sex on the team
Distinguished - average age of the team is 60+

Prizes will be awarded to each division, highest team score, and contest winners. 
Contests include:

  • Longest Drive (women and men)
  • Longest putt
  • Closest to the pin (women and men)
  • Splash for Cash (If a player successfully hits their ball into the pool, their name is placed in a drawing. Winner receives half of total money collected, and the other half will be donated to the scholarship fund.)
