Agriculture Future of America Leaders Conference $1000 Sponsorship

Davey Foundation Arbor Grant Program - $1000

Minnesota Farm Bureau Foundation Scholarship $500

Farm Bureau awards four $500 scholarships at the annual meeting in November. Eligible applicants include any person who is a Farm Bureau member or qualifies under their family's membership. Applicants must be going into their junior or senior year in college and be enrolled in agriculture, conservation, or forestry. Throlson American Bison Foundation Scholarship

The Throlson American Bison Foundation awards up to three scholarships totaling $5,000 to college junior, senior or graduate students studying bison or fields related to the bison industry. Mantrap Valley Conservation Club Scholarship

The Mantrap Valley Conservation Club awards up to $5,000 annually to students enrolled in an environmental or conservation field of study. The Adam Jensen Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually to a deserving college student pursuing an education related to agriculture. Reid Mason Memorial Scholarship Application

Harry S. Truman Scholarship $30,000

The Harry S. Truman Scholarships are for outstanding undergraduates who intend to pursue careers in government, education, the non-profit sector, or elsewhere in public service, and want to make a difference. Winners receive up to $30,000 for graduate study. Applicants must be Juniors, U.S. citizens or nationals, with strong academic records, and should be engaged in community service and/or political activism. Charlie Parnell Memorial Scholarship $500

The Barry M. Goldwater Scholarships ($7500/year) are for outstanding undergraduates who intend to pursue graduate study and research-based careers in the natural sciences, mathematics, or engineering. Lake Minnetonka Garden Club Scholarship

Lake Minnetonka Garden Club (LMGC) will provide up to $2500 annually, awarded to one student or divided between two students. MN Chapter, American Fisheries Society Scholarship $500

The Minnesota Chapter of the American Fisheries Society (MN AFS) will be offering at least one $500 scholarship to a Minnesota undergraduate pursuing a degree in fisheries, water resources, aquatic biology, or aquatic environmental science. National Corn Growers Association Academic Excellence in Agriculture Scholarship Program $1000

Annie's Homegrown Sustainable Agriculture Scholarship Program

Annie's Sustainable Agriculture Scholarship Program is open to full time undergraduate and graduate students. Awards range between $2,500 and $10,000. Morris K. Udall Scholarships $7000

Astronaut Scholarships

The University of Minnesota will put forward up to four sophomores or juniors interested in research careers and majoring in math, science, or engineering for nationally competitive Astronaut Scholarships ($10,000 per year for undergraduate education). The AgStar Scholars Program through AgStar Financial Services provides education, support and insight to students interested in Ag financing or Ag-related careers. CFANS students in their Junior year are eligible to apply for the program. Recipients receive a $2000 scholarship for the senior year, participate in an Ag financing seminar, and have opportunities to apply for AgStar internships. Applications require two reference letters. Central Minnesota Farm Show Scholarships

The St. Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce will be awarding 8-10 scholarships at $500 each for undergraduates enrolled in an agricultural related program. Limited to students who graduated from high school in central Minnesota counties. See the website for eligible counties and application.

Winfield Careers in Agriculture Scholarship Program

The Lynn Johnson – Johnson Brothers Memorial Scholarship in Entrepreneurship - $5000

This scholarship will support full-time UMTC juniors and seniors, with financial need, who have a strong, demonstrated interest in entrepreneurial initiatives. The Minnesota High Tech Foundation (MHTF) awards $5,000 and $10,000 scholarships to Minnesota undergraduate students in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) disciplines. These awards can include internship opportunities at MHTA member companies. Minnesota Cooperative Education Foundation Edward Slettom Cooperative Leadership Scholarship

U of M Women's Club Scholarship

The University of Minnesota Women's Club Scholarship (typical amount is $2500) is awarded to students who are MN residents, and have demonstrated academic ability and leadership experience, and a breadth of skills, interests, and extracurricular activities. To be considered for this scholarship a student must be a full-time Twin Cities undergraduate with sophomore, junior or senior status, 3.2 GPA, MN resident, and demonstrate financial need as determined by the Office of Student Finance. National Grocers Association Research and Education Foundation Scholarships

Learning Abroad Center Scholarships

Each year the University of Minnesota distributes approximately $500,000 for study abroad scholarships. Students can find a variety of scholarships including privately funded scholarship, the Diversity in Study Abroad Scholarship, the Access Abroad Scholarship, and many more. CHS Mini-Grants for Clubs and Groups

Grants will be awarded on an on-going basis; there are no submission deadlines.
The CHS Foundation, the major giving entity of CHS, Inc., a diversified energy, grains, and foods company, has launched the CHS Foundation College Club Mini-Grants program to strengthen learning experiences and professional development opportunities for agriculture-related college clubs. Through the program, the CHS Foundation will provide grants of up to $1,000 each to innovative leadership and professional development programs with an agriculture focus. Examples include leadership training opportunities, mentorship programs, professional development experiences, and student fundraising efforts. The applicant must be a campus-sanctioned club/organization and must have an agricultural-related focus. Regular and ongoing club expenses are ineligible.
