Student support professionals join CFANS team
New administrators joined the CFANS Office of Diversity and Inclusion and Office of International Programs in July.
Joseph Ballard, II, joined the CFANS Office of Diversity and Inclusion in the role of coordinator for recruitment, retention, engagement, and community outreach. Ballard has worked in the field of higher education/student affairs; specifically within multicultural/minority student affairs for over five years. He earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing and management from Oklahoma State University, and master of education in adult and higher education administration at the University of Oklahoma with a dual emphasis in student affairs and social justice. He most recently worked in mentoring and retention programs/initiatives for students of color at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Paola Rebellon joined the CFANS Office of International Programs in the role of communications and international programs specialist. She will work to develop and execute communication and marketing strategies for international programs and provide programming support for learning abroad programs. Rebellon brings extensive knowledge and experience to us in the field of communications and public relations. She earned her bachelor of science degree in communication with a minor in international relations from Florida International University. She most recently worked as a social media strategist with Micro Media Marketing in Miami, FL.
