Summer Solar Picnics

June 17, 2017
July 29, 2017
12:00 - 2:00 p.m.

Ride your bike, bring your own picnic, and enjoy a relaxing afternoon on the St. Paul campus. Our astronomy educators will bring out specially outfitted telescopes so you can safely view the biggest yellow dwarf star around--our Sun! Staff will also highlight some of the exciting developments happening at our new museum and planetarium, under construction right next to the fields!

Outdoor games such as soccer balls, bubbles, or even DIY insect houses are welcome (not supplied). More details TBA.

Observing may not occur in the case of inclement weather such as rain, overcast skies, or high heat indexes.
