Mary Buschette Receives President's Award for Outstanding Service

May 1, 2020

CFANS Alumni and Constituent Relations Director Mary Buschette received a 2020 President's Award for Outstanding Service. The President's Award for Outstanding Service is presented each year in the spring and recognizes exceptional service to the University, its schools, colleges, departments, and service units by any active or retired faculty or staff member. Recipients for this year’s award have gone well beyond their regular duties and have demonstrated an unusual commitment to the University community.

CFANS Dean Brian Buhr said, "Not only is Mary a CFANS alumna (Agricultural Economics, BS '87), she is also a longstanding and ardent supporter of our college and the University. Mary has invested 30 years of her career at the U and has consistently been someone who builds bridges, connects people and embodies our 'where passion meets purpose' mantra. Thank you for everything you do, and congratulations." We are CFANS proud to have someone so dedicated to building community and keeping people connected, particularly during this time. Congratulations Mary!

The University of Minnesota President's Award for Outstanding Service was established in 1997 to recognize faculty and staff (current or retired) who have provided exceptional service to the University, its schools, colleges, departments and service units. Such service must have gone well beyond the regular duties of a faculty or staff member, and demonstrate unusual commitment to the University community.
