The 89th annual State FFA Convention was held April 22-24 at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, with CFANS as a home base. A sea of blue jackets could be found on both the St. Paul and Minneapolis campuses as students participated in competitions, workshops, business sessions and tours of the campuses. Participants made key connections with agriculture and CFANS leaders.

Senior Development Officer Michael McCue grew up on a small farm near Belle Plaine. Through his grandfather, father, and brother, he's gained perspective on how dramatically and quickly the farming industry is evolving. It inspired him to join CFANS. He is looking forward to working with CFANS faculty, alumni, and constituents and engaging in just those rich, rewarding interactions.
