Dehn joins CFANS development

Emily Dehn has a passion for food at every level.

“Grocery shopping is one of my most beloved hobbies,” she jokes. But the connection is serious.

After several years in Washington, D.C., helping Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry Campaign realize substantive financial goals, followed by time at the University of Minnesota Foundation, she is excited to enrich that food focus with agricultural and natural resources.

In March, Emily became part of the CFANS development team when she assumed the director of corporate and foundation relations position. In her new role she is putting her seasoned non-profit fundraising experience toward increasing financial support of CFANS education and research.

Emily, who earned her bachelor's at the University of New Hampshire, grew up in Vermont where she loved hiking in the Green Mountains; she’s both an enthusiast for preservation of nature, and no stranger to snowy winters. For the past four years, she’s been making her home here with her Minnesota-native husband and toddler son.
