Development Spotlight: Minnesota Ornithologists Union and the Bell Museum

In April, Bob Bossert of the Minnesota Ornithologists Union (MOU) presented a gift in support of the new Bell Museum of Natural History to Executive Director Denise Young. Formed in 1964, the MOU is Minnesota’s largest birding club. The connection between the Minnesota Ornithologists Union and Bell Museum dates back to the founding of the group and continues to this day through events like the recent “Spring Into Birding” program - bringing enthusiasts from all over the state to learn more about birding. Through joint programming and ongoing philanthropic support, the MOU has been an enthusiastic partner with the Bell Museum. As the Bell Museum enters its next chapter, that relationship still continues to flourish.
