Wang '12 Publishes Book on Pediatric Nutrition
Since returning to her hometown of Beijing in March 2015, Xiaochung (Snow) Wang (M.S. Nutrition '12) has worked as a clinical dietitian in an international health care group where she specializes in pediatric and maternal nutrition. It was a dream come true to be able to share her passion in nutrition and help people live healthier. Wang realized that the information people get in clinical settings is limited, and often difficult for them to apply towards making lifestyle changes. She decided to write a book for parents that would provide them with access to hands-on recipes. On November 22, 2016, her first nutrition book was launched online. The title of this book is "Pediatric Nutrition cookbook for disease recovery and optimal health" which aims to teach parents how to cook for their kids when they are sick and answers some commonly asked questions. This book combines modern western nutrition and traditional Chinese Medicine. The book has been well received by doctors and parents and has made a difference on their kids health. For more information from Wang, feel free to reach her at email@example.com.
