Learn about Food, Wine and the Renaissance in Italy!
The CFANS & CEHD Alumni Global Learning Adventure to Italy, taking place November 2017, is the greatest way to experience and learn about Italian people and culture. This unique program takes you on an eleven day educational journey through the iconic regions of Cinque Terre, Parma and Milan. These regions are known for delicious Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, wine, balsamic vinegar, olives and other culinary delights. Learn from local and U of M experts about organic winemaking, agricultural practices, art and architecture. Your classroom offers spectacular views of the Mediterranean coast with hands-on learning opportunities but without the homework. Whether you are a fan of Italian cuisine, an architecture buff or agriculture addict, this program is perfect for you!
The daily itinerary is available at this link. This learning abroad program will be led by CFANS Professor Mike White, CFANS Director of Alumni & Constituent Relations Mary Buschette, and CEHD Professor Laurie Koch.
