The UMN Forestry Club's annual tree sale is now open for the holiday season. The tree sale is completely run by students; they help prep trees for sale as well as manage and work the tree lot. All proceeds go to support the club and its members. The tree lot can be found in the Les Bolstad Golf Course parking lot on Larpenteur north of the Saint Paul campus. Only cash and check are accepted. They are open weekdays from 2p.m. - 9 p.m. and weekends from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. until they sell out.
Frenatae Honey Sale
December 2 to December 4, 10:30am-3:30pm, Hodson Hall & St. Paul Student Center
Frenatae, the Department of Entomology's graduate student organization, is holding their annual sale where they will be selling honey, greeting cards and calendars featuring insect illustrations, candles, silk scarves, and more. Booths will be set up in front of the Natural Resources Library in Hodson Hall and in the St. Paul Student Center (lower level in front of the Post Office).
The club is taking pre-orders for honey bears or 5-pound jugs of honey. Fill out the 2015 Frenatae Pre-Order Form and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org or deliver it to the Frenatae mailbox marked "Honey Sale Pre-orders" in 230 Hodson Hall by end of day on November 30. Payments must be received by December 2. Orders will be filled on a first-come/first-serve basis.

Applied Plant Science Graduate Club Coffee Sale

Just in time for the holidays, the APS Graduate Club is happy to announce this year's coffee sale with the Velasquez Family!. Velasquez Family Coffee sells high quality coffee grown by the Velasquez family in Honduras, in order to ensure a livable income and support their efforts to protect and enhance the precious cloud forest ecosystems where they grow their coffee. Because the farms are small, the coffee is harvested by hand and sun dried with close attention to quality. It is freshly roasted in small batches in Minnesota by a master roaster.
To order, add your name, email/phone number and select coffee in your column in the order form. Or sign up on the order form in the Horticulture or Agronomy main offices. The Dairy and Meat Salesroom sells dairy products made in the Pilot Plant in the Department of Food Science and Nutrition, as well as meat products from the Meat Lab.
