The West Central Research and Outreach Center (WCROC) in Morris, MN, is using precision dairy technology to track feeding behavior, activity levels, temperature and health status of cattle for a better understanding of overall health. They have special tags on their lactating dairy cows that monitor rumination (chewing) among other data points.
