Are you an entrepreneur with an idea, or want to explore how to get your early-stage idea out into the world?
Have a great idea that impacts the future of agriculture in your major?
Want to learn how to create ideas that can 
generate impact? 

Join fellow CFANS students on a journey to Discover Your Entrepreneurial Mindset. This workshop series offers a unique opportunity for students in any major to gain valuable, career-worthy competency in creativity and entrepreneurship. Don’t miss an opportunity to collaborate with peers, win prizes ($1000 for 1st place), and present your Agtastic idea – in 90 seconds or less – to a panel of real investors and industry veterans. If you are not sure about your idea, the program includes training on how to develop and pitch your ideas!

The brainstorming sessions will take place on the following Saturdays from 10 am -12 pm in Coffey Hall. Location details will be provided to students who RSVP. Bring a laptop, smartphone, or tablet.

Jeff Stamp SmallThese highly interactive sessions will be led by nationally known speaker on creativity and CFANS alum Dr. Jeffrey Stamp '83 '90 who will help you explore how to turn your ideas into reality. For more than 25 years, he has helped countless business professionals and students awaken their untapped creative abilities and accelerate their “discovery thinking” that adds value to organizations and performance of individuals and teams. Dr. Stamp has long practiced what he preaches. He was the creator of Baked! Lays® Potato Crisps, for PepsiCo’s snack division, Frito-Lay. Having lead seven successful entrepreneurial start-ups, he also served as a Chief Trained Brain and V.P. of Technology for the widely recognized Eureka! Ranch, a leading product and creativity think-tank. His Eureka Ranch team was awarded the “George Land World-Class Innovator Award” from the Innovation Network and Fast Company magazine. Dr. Stamp has conducted workshops in more than 50 universities and 300 companies worldwide. In recognition of his nonstop energy, unique teaching style and passion for experiential learning, Dr. Stamp was awarded the prestigious Excellence in Entrepreneurship Education Award from the Acton Foundation.
