Minnesota Royal

In 2019, Minnesota Royal celebrates its 103rd anniversary on the St. Paul campus. Begun in 1916 as Ag Royal, the week-long event is held each spring to celebrate agriculture and what it contributes to the community.

Join us for our livestock showmanship contest on Saturday, April 6 or to watch the Johnny Holm band perform on Thursday, April 4 — tickets can be purchased for $25 at the door the night-of. Throughout the week, student groups on the St. Paul campus will also vie for bragging rights as they participate in good-natured competitions, like animal calling, a milkmaid and lip-sync contest, the Ag Olympics, the Royal Run, skits, showmanship and more.

Everyone's welcome to join in this week of student-run fun! Stay updated on Minnesota Royal by liking the Minnesota Royal Facebook page and please RSVP here if you plan to attend.
