Global Learning Adventures

CFANS Alumni Global Learning Adventures is an exciting new program that will take CFANS alumni and friends around the world to explore agriculture, food, and natural resources, and to get a taste of a student learning abroad experience.

Traditional Agriculture, Wines, and Foods of Italy

Next program: October 2-11, 2015

The first excursion of CFANS Alumni Global Learning Adventures took place in October 2013 on Italian Food Culture and Sustainability. From Cinque Terre to Chianti, a group of CFANS alumni and friends learned about organic winemaking, traditional farming methods, modern enology and land management practices along spectacular views of the Mediterranean coast. This program was led by Mike White, a Morse Alumni Distinguished Professor in CFANS and Associate Dean for Academic Programs and Faculty Affairs. If you'd like to sign up for next year's program in Italy, please submit your information to the mailing list to be informed of this and other future opportunities. Check the Facebook page, and take a look at some of the photos from the 2013 program.
