Family & Friends
The formal ceremony will begin at 2:30p.m. on Friday, May 3, 2019, with a faculty procession leading graduate students into North Star Ballroom (2nd floor of St Paul Student Center) and will conclude with the presentation of degree candidates. All students will be individually recognized and photographed on stage.
The doors will open for guests at 1:30p.m. The ceremony will conclude at approximately 3:45p.m. All graduates and their guests are expected to stay until the end of the ceremony. Guests requiring ADA services should check in with one of the ushers.
The Graduate Student Commencement Ceremony will be streamed live online for family and friends who are unable to attend the ceremony. The ceremony will be recorded and available to watch online however it will not be available for purchase or download.
For family and friends who are unable to attend the commencement, the ceremony will be streamed LIVE on the web at 2:30p.m. Central (3:30p.m. Eastern) on the Ceremony Video page.

The St. Paul Student Center is fully accessible. Participants or guests with special or ADA needs should email email@example.com or contact your graduate program coordinator no later than one week prior to the ceremony with information regarding their specific needs.
