Scholarships and Financial Aid

Scholarships

Alumni, friends and corporate sponsors generously provide scholarship money to encourage outstanding students to prepare for careers in agriculture, business, natural resources and communications industries. Our College annually awards over $900,000 in scholarships to its incoming and current undergraduate students in more than 65 named scholarships, many of which are multi-year.

There are additional funds available including those awarded centrally by the University, by foundations, service clubs, and other agencies, and through departments for students enrolled in their majors. Students can also do a scholarship search to investigate scholarship opportunities available outside of the University of Minnesota.

One application enables you to apply for all College scholarships.

Financial Aid

The College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences offers financial aid to its students through the University of Minnesota's Office of Student Finance. Visit their site for the FAFSA, university policy and procedures for eligibility and disbursement of scholarships, types of aid and more.
