Student studies Cuban agriculture Environmental Sciences major Lisa Kissing has returned from a study abroad trip to Cuba where she studied the country’s low-input, sustainable style of agriculture. In turn, she helped farmers learn about organic fertility management. Kissing’s trip was funded by the Katherine E. Sullivan Scholarship. Over 135 golfers helped raise more than $20,000 for students at the 2008 Golf Scramble for Scholarships event hosted by the CFANS Alumni Society. This will be added to the more than $50,000 endowment created by this event in previous years.Seven undergraduates have benefited thus far.
