Red Lake Nation Bus Tour

Have you ever wondered about Minnesota's reservation communities, what their needs are and how your interests might find application with communities that have limited access to University resources?

The College is collaborating on an initiative of the University of Minnesota Extension Service to take a bus trip to the Red Lake Nation on August 19-20. This trip offers an opportunity for faculty to "engage in conversation with Tribal community members to identify possible collaborative opportunities that meet interests of the reservation and the University." Is a unique chance to learn about a Native American reservation community, gain cultural insight and explore the possibility of ongoing collaborative effort.

The trip is free to CFANS and Extension faculty. Please take a look at the attached flyer and agenda. Reserve your place on the bus at the following web registration site:

Select the box for Extension participants and we will pick up the cost for your participation. Your early registration insures that we can provide hand outs and have an accurate count for the bus. Click the link to view a PDF of the agenda.
