Before you become a CFANS student, it's important to know which of your completed courses will transfer into the CFANS curriculum, or fulfill the U of M's liberal education requirements. The two tools listed below will help you understand how your courses transfer to CFANS and the U of M.
U.select: Use this system to see how courses from other schools transfer to the U of M, and how they fulfill the U of M's liberal education requirements.
Math and Chemistry Course Equivalency: Use this database to see how courses from other schools may fulfill the U of M's math, chemistry, technology, and other science requirements.
Before transferring, prospective transfer students are strongly encouraged to complete ALL available 1000-level chemistry, biology, and math courses that are required for your designated CFANS major.
The CFANS Course Transfer Guides are being updated. Because our curriculum changes every year, be sure you consult a current Transfer Guide before registering for fall 2014 classes. To receive a current guide for your school, contact Alyssa Kotzian, CFANS Transfer Admissions Counselor, at email@example.com or 612-624-3220.
