Campuses:
The Recreation Resource Management curriculum prepares students to plan and manage natural and non-urban recreational land and water, as well as manage the people and organizations that depend on these important resources. The curriculum emphasizes natural and managed non-urban areas; natural resources-oriented recreation programs in public and private sectors; social science aspects of natural resources use; and skills in communication, planning, and management.
Students may pursue a RRM Minor in either one of two specializations: the Resource Based Tourism (RBT) specialization or the standard RRM specialization.
All minor requirements must be taken A-F (unless only offered S/N), and students must earn a grade of at least C- in each course in the minor.
If you have questions about this minor please contact the minor coordinator, Mae Davenport, directly at mdaven@umn.edu or 612-624-2250.
