International Agriculture Minor

Food systems, agriculture and environmental ecosystems are international in nature. They bridge national borders, cross cultures, and influence regional and global economics. The International Agriculture minor is designed to help give an international perspective to students with majors related to agriculture, food, or the environment.

If you choose this minor, your program must be developed in coordination with the Office of International Programs in CFANS.

There are four main components to the International Agriculture minor program:

  1. general overview of international agriculture

  2. geographic area, culture, or language studies

  3. expanded coursework in agriculture

  4. international experience

All minor requirements must be taken A-F (unless only offered S/N), and students must earn a grade of at least C- in each course in the minor.

If you have questions or wish to pursue the International Agriculture minor, please contact the Minor Coordinator listed on the right side of this web page.
