Forest Ecosystem Management and Conservation minor

The Forest Ecosystem Management and Conservation minor* provides an overview of the science, practices, and techniques of forest-ecosystem management to protect and ensure sustainable use. Students select from an array of courses in forest assessment, forest ecology and management, and forest economics and policy.

Students may do a 3-week, hands-on field session at the Cloquet Forestry Center as part of this minor.

All minor requirements must be taken A-F (unless only offered S/N), and students must earn a grade of at least C- in each course in the minor.

If you have questions, please contact the Minor Coordinator listed on the right side of this page.
