Minnesota Royal began on the St. Paul Campus in 1916 when it was known as Ag Royal. This event has a rich history and tradition.
The 98th Annual Minnesota Royal will be held April 8 - 13, 2013.
Minnesota Royal is for everyone including students, faculty, staff, alumni and the surrounding community. Students involved in organizations located on the St. Paul Campus have the opportunity to participate in Minnesota Royal competitions. They compete for awards and recognition. University faculty, staff, alumni and friends offer their time, talent and support to this student-run event. The surrounding communities have the opportunity to experience Minnesota Royal. They are also able to learn more about agriculture and what it provides for them and their families.
