One-Day Orientation Session

Why orientation for transfer students? As a transfer student you want to make the best use of your time with us. That includes identifying where important resources are located in the College and around the Twin Cities campus. It involves knowing how best to be informed of important policies and who to be in touch with when you have questions. These topics and many more are covered in the one-day orientation session you will be invited to.

The orientation session is your first opportunity to make certain that your previous classes have transferred as you hoped and to ask questions about your major and remaining course work. You will have the opportunity to meet other students and learn of the many programs we have available. At the orientation session you will receive and learn how to use your program sheet (APAS report) and visit with an advisor to determine the most efficient path to graduation. Your advisor will assist you in finding classes for the semester and help you register on-line.

Transfer students begin on the Mpls. campus with registration for a short introduction to the University and campus resources.  For additional information visit Orientation and First-Year Programs.
