Transfer Guides

Before beginning your career as a CFANS student, it is important to know which courses you have completed will transfer into the CFANS curriculum or fill liberal education requirements. The following will help you understand how your courses transfer to CFANS.
U.select: Use this system to see how courses from other institutions transfer to the U of M and fulfill liberal education requirements.

IT Course Equivalency: Use the database available on this website to see how courses from other institutions may fulfill math and chemistry requirements.

All prospective transfer students in the College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences are strongly encouraged to complete ALL available 1000 level chemistry, biology and math courses that are required for the designated major BEFORE they transfer.
