How does the application process work? That depends on whether you are a current CFANS student or a prospective CFANS student. There are distinct and separate processes that exist for new freshmen, transfer, and current students.

Scholarships are awarded once a year in the spring for the following academic year. Scholarships are only for fall and spring semesters.
Who is eligibile? Students must be accepted or enrolled in one of the College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences' majors. Students must be enrolled in a minimum of 13 credits per semester and remain in good academic standing. Scholarships are awarded for an academic year beginning with fall semester.
Selection is based on criteria outlined for each scholarship. Criteria may include professional promise, academic record, leadership, student activities, involvement, environmental awareness, unusual hardships, financial need, etc.
