Food and agricultural and environmental systems are international in nature. They bridge national borders, cross cultures, and influence regional and global economics. Our International Agriculture minor is designed to help give an international perspective to students' studies in agricultural, food, or environmental-related majors.
The program for a minor in international agriculture must be developed in coordination with the Office of International Agricultural Programs in the college.
There are four main components to the minor program:
- General overview of international agriculture
- Geographic area, culture, or language studies
- Expanded coursework in agriculture
- International experience
For more information on the program requirements necessary to earn a minor in International Agriculture, see the University Course Catalog or download the minor form.
If interested in pursuing the minor, please contact the John Vreyens (or 612-624-3221) in the Office of International Agriculture Programs directly. |
