|  |  | Deb Swackhamer Professor Debrah Swackhamer is an environmental chemist and interim director of the University’s new Institute on the Environment. She continues to serve as co-director of the University’s Water Resources Center. Deb’s current research is focused on the bioaccumulation of toxic chemicals in food webs, and on exposures and impacts of endocrine disruptors. Deb serves on the US Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Science Advisory Board and Board of Scientific Councelors, and the Science Advisory Board of the International Joint Commission of the US and Canada.
