Turning Plans into Action
Redefining the CFANS Undergraduate Experience
On February 26, 2010, CFANS held it's annual gathering around redefining the future of undergraduate education in the college. The theme, Redefining the CFANS Undergraduate Experience: Turning Plans into Action, marks the transition into the implementation phase of our strategic planning endeavors.
The event included a presentation by keynote speaker Dr. Pedro Bidegaray, the Director of International Academic Programs for
EARTH University in Costa Rica. EARTH University is an agricultural and natural resources institution that places significant
emphasis on experiential, hands-on learning and the development of problem solving skills in students' educational experiences. He presented an
innovative model for higher education programs. Dr. Bidegaray's PowerPoint presentation can be found below.
