Four years, four Princess Kays from CFANS (8/25/2010)
Katie Miron, an agricultural education major in CFANS from Hugo, was crowned the 57th Princess Kay of the Milky Way at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds August 25. She'll be the official goodwill ambassador over the next year for Minnesota’s nearly 4,700 dairy farmers. She's the fourth Princess Kay in a row who's a CFANS student; all four are pictured above. This marks the second time two people from the same family have been named Princess Kay: Miron’s sister, Ann, was crowned Princess Kay in 2007. Last year's Princess Kay, Elizabeth Olson, is the sister of Sarah Olson Schmidt, who was Princess Kay 2002.

See U at the State Fair! (8/25/2010)
It's that time again... CFANS and the University of Minnesota will have a significant presence at the Minnesota State Fair, with demonstrations, speakers and giveaways each day. The fair runs from Aug. 26 through Sept. 7, right next to the university's St. Paul campus.
