Peter Reich receives 'Frontiers of Knowledge' award (6/25/2010)
Peter Reich, a Regents Professor in the Department of Forest Resources, was one of eight international winners who were honored June 23 with BBVA "Frontiers of Knowledge" awards in Madrid, Spain. The BBVA Foundation—the philanthropic arm of BBVA Group, a large Spanish banking and finance company—honored Reich for his work in global metabolic plant ecology.
